Duke Choi (b.1989 in Los Angeles) did his undergraduate at California Institute of the Arts. Duke works in mediums in paper-making, map-making, instrument-mkaing, drawing, painting, video, and performance. Did a residency in Mongolia to work with a collective called Blue Sun Contemporary Artists and begun to practice throat singing and map making in 2012. He was based in South Korea working on issues with the DMZ by making performance videos along the border as well as has been constructing radical political archive for a documentary. He is an assistant to Nam June Paik's video engineer Jung Sung Lee, Kim Kulim, and well as Yook Keun Byung. He was doing his masters in Geneva Switzerland and now is back in Los Angeles.
